Next Walk Sunday Feb 23rd  - Higher Poynton, Bollinhurst Reservoir and Lyme Park

A walk of around seven miles starting from Jacksons Brickworks Car Park, we will follow the Ladybrook Valley Interest Trail passing Elmerhurst Cottage and Bollinhurst Reservoir then through Lyme Park and past Haresteads Farm to join the Middlewood Way and back to the start. Hopefully mostly good paths but may be the odd muddy section.. Start from Jacksons Brickworks Car Park on Pool House Road Higher Poynton SK12 1TS

Directions ~~ Turn right in Poynton up Park Lane, in three quarters of a mile at the end of the Village fork left up Middlewood Road. After a further 1 mile turn right into Pool House Lane and the road leads into the car park

Meet at 10:30am in the free car park.

I will be able to shorten the walk in the case of inclement weather.

The walks above are provisional and may be re- arranged depending on the weather conditions at the time. I normally check the expected weather conditions on a Wednesday for the following Sunday and then send out my regular update to confirm the actual walk details. If anyone would like me to arrange a walk in a particular area or would like to lead one of their own walks for us please let me know and I will arrange to put it in the programme.
